At Edgecliff Automotive, Josh and team have strived to continually provide Excellence in Automotive Service and indeed Customer Service. This we believe is what you should expect and we aim to deliver.

The owner, Joshua Thatcher started his apprenticeship with John Newell Motors (BMW, Porsche, Honda) with very extensive training in all vehicle aspects, factory and in-house. From there Josh progressed into the private sector within a BMW workshop in Caringbah, where they also specialized in Mercedes Benz and Audi as well as completing contract work with VW at City Automobiles.

Taking off to Europe, after spending some time In Europe and Canada working as a Concierge, Josh returned and started a Mobile Mechanic business with two staff members.

In January 2002, Josh took over Edgecliff Automotive and now with nine very experienced staff members, cover all aspects of modern and classical motor vehicle repairs and service

If you have already clicked on the map or read the home page, you’ll see that we are very conveniently located moments from Edgecliff Station, on Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs line running from Bondi Junction through the CBD, two stops from Martin Place.

Surrounding Eastern Suburbs location are also easily accessed, Double Bay is walking distance to eateries, work or the ferry and Bondi Junction hub is only one stop on the train.
